Intergraph
and ProSoft Sign Federal Distribution Pact for NetSPEX
March 3, 2004, Washington, DC - NetSPEX CAD standards management software will be more easily available to Federal customers based on an agreement that becomes effective today between ProSoft and Intergraph. ProSoft has announced that Intergraph Solutions Group, a division of Intergraph Corporation, is now authorized to sell NetSPEX CAD standards management software under the Intergraph-maintained IM/FCAD2 contract with the Federal government. NetSPEX is a CAD standards management and compliance checking solution for AutoCAD and MicroStation users recently adopted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Idaho Transportation Department, Alabama Department of Transportation, and dozens of AE firms nationwide. Additional ProSoft products that will also be added to the contract include SiteMenu - a CAD standards interface solution used by the Federal Aviation Administration, Florida Department of Transportation, and others, plus ProSoft's popular MicroStation hardcopy manuals and electronic training courseware, thought to be the largest selling commercially available MicroStation-based training courseware worldwide. All Federal government agencies can now purchase NetSPEX and installation services through the contract, which will guarantee the lowest prices available. ProSoft support and maintenance on NetSPEX will also be available as a part of the IM/FCAD2 service, with all products automatically including a one-year maintenance subscription. "This agreement with Intergraph will leverage Intergraph's strong presence in the Federal government marketplace while broadening access to ProSoft products for all Federal users," commented Mark Anderson, President of ProSoft. Allison Wheeler, IM/FCAD2 program manager for Intergraph Solutions Group added, "This agreement provides our clients with an industry-leading solution that has a proven track record of meeting the demands of the largest architectural and engineering projects worldwide. This partnership with ProSoft will enable us to help our clients achieve their mission, vision and goals through the intelligent deployment of best practices and information technology."
